Did you study art?

Yes, I did… way back in the 80’s! I completed a 4 year Diploma in Textile Design at Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town, South Africa. Since then I have undertaken many painting and printmaking courses and workshops.

Where are you based and how can I see your work in person? 

I’m based in Melbourne, Australia. My studio hours are by appointment only. To schedule some time to view my work, please email vinettecreate@gmail.com. 

What type of materials do you use and how do you finish your paintings?

My artwork is created using professional grade acrylic polymer paint and water based media. I also include oil pastels and other mixed media as a part of my process. Canvas originals and some works on paper are varnished to protect your painting from dust and light. For works on paper, I recommend framing behind glass as it’s best for protection and preservation.

Is all your artwork framed?

Yes, most of them unless otherwise stated. My framer does an amazing job! All float framing is done in Australian Raw Oak. The frames are 5.5cm deep and beautifully smooth. With such a wide frame, the smaller artworks can comfortably sit on a shelf, mantel or side table.

How will my artwork be shipped to me?
